Since acquiring the Hub in December 2025 we have been busy expanding the use of the building with a number of modifications to make the space more usable;

 

- Removing the pews and associated heating to create a large open space. The venue can now be booked via the online [booking form](https://www.bartholchapelhub.org/bookings).
- Installation of new heating panels which can be turned off and on remotely
- Double glazing the large rosary window and stained glass window courtesy of funding from CARES
- Hosting 3 local artists during the annual NEOS event
- A return of the Fish and Chip night and plant sale - both as popular as last year
- An expanding events calendar with over 15 events in October and new activities such as a soundbath

And we aren't stopping there ...

- Installation of solar panels and battery wall courtesy of CARES grant
- Installation of an external toilet block (courtesy of Awards for All grant) that will allow us to hold larger events and support bookings for larger groups
